Epiphyllum cactus

Though they are cacti, these cacti are semi-epiphytic tropical plants. They need tropical conditions, as well as a lot more water than desert cacti do. The flowers of these plants are absolutely stunning. They come in every color of the rainbow but blue. The size of the flowers can be as large as dinner plates. It is no surprise that they are sometimes called orchid cacti.
